yesterday was our 2nd year anniversary ^^
we had a fun night out, at "our spot" in vivo skygarden.
it's become a tradition..
and last night, baby n i made magic =]] heh.
i painstakingly made him a card. and i'm sorta proud of it =D
baby how come i don't ever get any cards from u anymoreee?????
today, met dearie again..
went to orchard faberhouse to send my GuessWatch for repair =[
so sad! first i lose my ring =[ and now a piece of my watch dropped off =[
it's so weird.....
and the lady said 3-4weeks or 3-4MONTHS o.o ahhhhhhhhh. faints.
so anw, we ate at this tex-mex restaurant near OG..

pharm'09 grad night

yesterday was a loong hard day for me.
had to be in school for unionweek fashion show rehearsal, which wasnt v efficient actually =x sorry ppl. i spent most of my time there just waiting around.. hmm. but i got a feeling the final show will be good =] the clothes some of these student designers made were really pretty creative and .. nice! i think i would actually buy some of those hahaha. but my designer wasnt in school yest, so i don't even know what i'll be wearin.. can't wait to see it!
aft 2hours in school, had to rush off to pole at milleniawalk. wow yest's routine was HARD =X i really ought to practise this time.. gosh. feel so embarrassed if everyone can do it and i can't ahhhhhh.. better do some abs training over the week. easier said than done. who am i kidding, i'm not gonna do anythin o.o
then after dance, i came home, showered, got ready for pharm'09 grad night. sarah n i were the helpers. the ONLY year 1/2 helpers might i add. felt so so out of place =x cause the other helpers were quarantined thanks to mr h1n1 who showed up at the foc uninvited. -.- sheesh. how rude. so anw, grad night was at hilton hotel vista room, small but cosy, just nicely seated about 100 ppl. plus a tiny stage in the middle.
the helpers basically helped out with the games part, pageant games etc. we had to rush on and off the stage the whole night! who's complainin, at least we had stuff to do, rather than just sit there awkwardly and eat a free dinner o.o haha it was kinda fun la.. and we got to experience a uni graduation party, wayyyy ahead of time heh.
the most impt part i must say.. is that the year4s or the graduates hmm, were really really nice to us!!! (sarah n i) i feel so loved awwww..
we were just puny unimportant helpers and some of em came out of their way to ensure we were getting the food, had a nice comfy place to sit etc. eventually one table actually offered to let us join em, and they pulled a chair over so the 2 awkward girls could sit together and not die of shame =x hahaha.. jevin even gave us his doorgift LOL. and it was THEIR night. everyone dressed so pretty and elegant.. some games/performances turned out really fun and entertaining =]
so it's true, after i've experienced first hand.. that ppl in healthcare truly are caring. pharmacists are nice ppl.

oh i almost forgot, the waiter serving our table (3) was also very nice (what's the english word for "ti tie"?) haha.. sadly, i didnt get a chance to tell his supervisor hmmhmm.. and i don't carry GEM cards around.

suddenly in the "back-to-school" mood haha.. which simply means, time for some "back-to-school" shopping!!! =]]]
i wanna get a pair of havaianas, coz slippers are the smart way to go. plus, might as well put that matric card discount thingy to use. HEEE
just love these metallic ones.. thinkin of getting the first one, dark grey coal-ish
gonna need a new wallet soon too. coz my precious Guess one (from baby) has a tiny tear at the buckle =x which means i have to be oh so careful everytime i open it.. sigh.
this black one from agnes.b is really chic eh.. haha. simple and classy.
but i've been eyeing this charles&keith wallet for some time now. too bad i can't find a photo of it to post here..
comes in black, peachy orange, beige. something tells me to go for the beige one. haha. maybe it's the 20yr old in me speaking X) it's a long zip wallet, large enough to double as a clutch. love it. plus it doesnt carry a hefty pricetag, like most of the stuff at c&k now -.- TSK.. it used to be an affordable place to shop. honestly i rather it NOT be "concept".

Ladyluxe @ supperclub =]]] dine for FREEEEEEE
lotsa unglam photos due to large beds being too comfy and humongous pillows being too fluffy..

RESULTS! hmmmm... i'm happy =] it's not SUPER good la.. but it's ok for now..
count my blessings.
WORK. darn it's tiring. been working at **** for the past one week. haha can't say the name coz i'll be complainin a whole lot from here on...
it's so so tiring! gosh. u're supposed to get used to it, but no i think the tiredness just accumulates =[ i'm exhausted. completely. wake up every morning with bodyache. draggin myself to work. sigh sigh SIGHHHHH. i don't normally clean tables and sweep the floor at home.
sorry i'ma pampered princess.
but 6/hr isn't really sufficient to motivate me to start pickin up after dirty messy cheena customers -.- service industry, yea i get it, service. but i'm just not cut out for this. of course while i'm doin my job i put on a good working attitude blablabla, but aft work omg i can't stop cursing it.. #$%^&*()(*&^%$#$%^&*#$%$%^&(&^&*(*
really makes u appreciate education and makes u wanna study harder to get that professional cert! X)
second is the Culture. guess there's no other way to put it, it's "ah-beng"world over there.. hokkien vulgarities are simpleday vernacular. middle fingers fill the air. i witnessed a fight =x scared the freakin hell outta me =x oh and harassment from several male employees. even the guy-in-charge omg -.- ok la not "harassment" not so serious. but it's irritating laaaaa.. leave me alone!
learnt some things over there tho. good things. kindof opened my mind a lil.
these wkers here, majority have little education. but yet they find a way to survive. they're not the ones rotting at home waiting for allowance from daddy, they're truely HARD workers. i admire them for being able to accept life as it is. (but then again what choice do they have) they know they're not the studying-type, so why bother anymore, just go out and find wk. it's rather inspiring to see em have such an optimistic outlook on life, while here in the uni-world we cry over our CAP which is really only a number.
these so-called "uncouth delinquents" might be gangsters in the real world. but infront of customers, wow. even i'll be charmed. it's true that everyone has their talents.
and i must say, they are good ppl, nice ppl. will make u laugh when u cry, cheer u up when u're sad. loyal friends i suppose.
never thought a new job could show me a new world.
giving up on this job (or shall i say menial labour) end of next week. relief! haha.
got a whole new perspective on this group of young ppl. PLUS i got to see Stefanie Sun! up close like as close as this screen is to my face right now o.o she was right infront of me! HAHAH..
so i guess this short experience is still a rather interesting memorable experience for me =D

it's saturday! got a nice long sleep last night.. woke bout 1030am. and that's like super good for me already.. considering my normal waking time at 9am =/ i don't know why i just can't sleep the whole day away.. it's the hols, can't be stress. can it? i wanna do yoga/pilates. think i really need it.. don't want premature aging coz of stress o.o
starting work on monday. mmm sorta excited yet depressed coz i won't have the time to make all the desserts i'm thinkin of now. won't have time to meet dearie so often, but then again he's always wkin -.- won't have time to play restaurant city so much HAHA but it's good coz thesedays i'm just staring at my ppl watchin em cook and serve cook and serve... don't think that's too healthy.
planned to exercise over this hols. so far so good? went cycling that day. badminton court already booked for our next outing. mm still wanna go gymming some time soon. prob the weekend. maybe i'll bring baby along.. heh.
RESULTS OUT THIS COMING FRIDAYYYYYY =X ahhhhhhhh.
i'll be at work. heh. sho sho scared laaaaaaa.. gosh. more worried this time. a-hah, that might be the reason for my sleepless nights HMMM. so aft fri.. (if all goes well) should be able to have a happy stressfree night =]

Throat, recently my throat's been exceptionally dry. eversince that day i fell sick, it just nvr healed. it's so dry i can't fall asleep without thinkin i'm gonna choke to death. no idea why. =/ am i sick? some underlying disease? sigh.
i feel so blessed. so far. i'm healthy. got my family. got my friends. got him. i'm not stupid. i'm normal. =] being normal, being average is really the best thing to wish for..

been having a hard time finding a Parttime job =[ economic crisis eh.. now i really feel it.. sigh
just bought a book to read over the hols. p.s i love u.. expecting to lose tons n tons of tears and get really sore eyes aft this.. haha but i love a sad story. didnt get to watch the movie. which gives me a chance to read it first then maybe go rent the dvd or sumthin.. and of coz force him to watch it with me =]
holidays are getting kinda boring already. same ol tv shows in the aftnoon. how much nigella and ellen can i take! ahhhh it's driving me nuts.. i NEED a job. or at least someone pls build a gym downstairs.. i'm too lazy to take a bus to my gym.. ARGHHHHH

i'm bored.
focusing entirely on my restaurant now haha. cause i just have so much time i don't know what to do...
had a great couple days of birthday celebrations. a million thankyou hugs and kisses to all my friendsss.. but all those sweet cakes and fried yummy foods has given me a bad BAD sorethroat =[ i think the final cheesecake was the last delicious morsel my delicate throat could take.. aww well it was worth it =D heh
(why am i so prone to sorethroats? the stars were right, taurus's are prone to illness of the throat and neck o.o)
feelin much better now. yest mornin was terrible. baby was so sweet, tho i ruined sunday's plans.. he came over and looked after me =] heeeee. tucked me in, patted me to sleep, sat close by.. i could literally feel his warmth.. haha! these are the moments u just can't help but smile to urself.....
how come the arcade game thingy on restaurant city doesnt wk? what for have it if the little ppl there only know how to eat the whole day... sheesh

ONE more day!!!!! hehehahahohoooo
tried my best to make my own blog skin thingy but obviously i failed badly.. hahaha well it was fun. basically only changed the stuff at the top. sigh i'm not cut out for this.
omgosh i can't wait for tomorrow!!! =]]]] seriously have no clue whatsoever bout anythin my friends or baby are doin for me... hmmhmmm!!! surprises are fun. sure hope i can sleep tonight tho =x
it's a hot day. it's a boring day. actually planned to clear my wardrobe abit today, but.. the slacker in me is starting to emerge once again.. sleepy sleepy
lemme just ramble on then.....
in rebuttal of the recent negative comments against facebook which i happen to have stumbled upon during this immensely boring period called holiday without a job yet, i shall state afew positive points about facebook (yes i know this is dumb. but i'm bored)
- a good way to fight boredom with its highly addictive games like restaurantcity and hell'skitchen!!!! =] perfectly legal yet freeeeeeee and once these games get outdated new ones spring up, forcing u to stay addicted to fb once again...
- posting pictures for the world to see.. yes of coz "for the world to see" part is pretty impt to make it relevant for this argument o.o haha! if u just wanna take pictures and stare at em urself then by all means stay away from fb. but i only know one person who does that, my dad =x LOL ppl can tag emselves and leave comments etc. especially for frens who've flown overseas, its a good way to show how u've been, what u've been up to.. a picture says a thousand words yea? (kiwi this is for u!)
- for the bunch of ppl including myself who really don't have much to do on the computer. no WoW no CS no online assignments no blog to worry about (ok cept this) facebook makes a great default destination. its kinda like the second msn. and sometimes there really isnt anythin nice on tv...
- facebook is realli NOT to make friends. well at least for me it isnt. i honestly can't be bothered if i've got 10 friends or 1000 friends on the friendlist. but it's true that u can find lots n lots n lots of old friends.. it's just nice to know that ppl rmb u aft all this time, and its nice to see how they're doin (via pictures of coz and the occasional walltalk) oh and for those stalkers.. haha fb is perfect
- it's a symbol of this generation. who doesnt know facebook. i rmb i used to think friendster would always be there and i hated fb in the start. but now, since i've made that cross over, i don't ever look back.. HAHAHA omgosh i sound like some drugaddict

hello blog.
exams have ended. yay =] but i'm not feelin super confident bout any paper really. and that's not a good sign. hmm. well all i can do now is just enjoy my holidays and hope for the best. i sooo need to just relax and SLEEEEEEPPPP insomnia please stop buggin me =[ stress has taken its toll on my skin. 300 dollar facials might not even be able to save me now...
i'm turning 20 in like 2 days! omgoooshhh.. farewell my teen-hood. time to embrace old-age. knee aches and all.............
life is amazing ain't it.. one day u're sitting cross legged in assembly amongst other tiny ppl in a pinafore doing after-recess eye exercises, the next day u're reading about cholecystokinin and omeprazole and how to make tablets o.o .. and before ya know it, u'll be nagging at ur adolescent child to do his homework. counting the number of white hair on your head. line-dancing at the local cc. watchin oprah all day long...... actually i already do some of those stuff =x
i wonder if i'll ever be able to drive a sports car. i wonder if i'll ever live in a bungalow. i wonder if i'll ever fly first class. i wonder if i'll ever vaca in europe. swim in hawaii. skydive. snorkel. hike. snowboard. go to orlando disneyworld............
